The Saraye Sohrab Sepehri Hotel Kashan, located in Kashan’s historical fabric, boasts a rich history and was renovated in 2021. This establishment spans three floors and features nine accommodation units. Saraye Sohrab Hotel is in the middle of Kashan’s old city, close to historic sites.

Saraye Sohrab was added to the country’s list of national landmarks on January 11, 2021. Working to fix this old house started in June 2018 and continued until March 2021, when it was finally finished.

One of its benefits is that this hotel is close to the historical homes of Agha Bozorg Mosque, Abbasi, Borujerdi, and Tabatabaei historical houses, as well as the traditional Grand Bazaar of Kashan. The Saray Sohrab Hotel has nine rooms, each named after a modern Iranian artist. It can accommodate 31 people. Because this house is built traditionally, the apartments are spread out over two basement levels.

The first basement is where Nima Yooshij, Mehdi Akhavan-Sales, Rahi Moayeri, Forough Farrokhzad, and Houshang Ebtehaj rooms, and the second basement is where Parvin E’tesami, Shahriar, Shamloo, and Malek o-Shoaray Bahar are placed. Reception, housekeeping, caretaking, and an Iranian-style restroom are on the ground floor. 

Every room at Saray Sohrab Sepehri is decorated with traditional items, such as rugs, kilims, pottery, old glasswork, wooden tables, and mirrors. The rooms also have clean towels, shampoo, soap, and a mini-bar fridge with mineral water and snacks for each guest.

Malek o-Shoarayer Bahar room can accommodate four people, Forough Farrokhzad and Rahi Moayeri rooms can accommodate three people each, and Houshang Ebtehaj, Parvin E’tesami, and Shamloo rooms can accommodate two people each. Nima Yooshij, Shahriar, and Akhavan Sales rooms can accommodate five people.

Important Note: You have to go down ten steps to the first basement rooms and 20 steps to the second basement rooms.

“It was convenient that the hotel was close to the market, had a traditional feel, was in the city center, and was easy to get to Kashan’s famous historical homes. A parking spot was next to the hotel, which isn’t usually true at such traditional hotels. It was big enough and close enough that it was fine.”
