Qavam House Shiraz is made up of a vast garden with a traditional House in the center. It is situated on Lotf Ali Khan Street, in the city’s center, near Zinat al-Moluk House. When the Qajar family ruled Iran in the 1800s, they built this beautiful garden and mansion.

People call this area Narenjestan because it has so many big sour orange (Narenj) trees, which are essential to any Shiraz garden.

One of the best examples of a Persian garden is Narenjestan Qavam. This building uses seven Persian techniques, and the garden and the palace are perfectly balanced. This building is more than 3,500 square meters and is split into two parts. The servants lived in the southern part, which had beautiful stucco work.

The northern wing is two stories tall, and its roof is covered with fantastic mirror works that can keep your attention for hours. Several rooms are set up in a circle around the central mirror hall.

Colorful tiles and paintings were made inspired by the carvings at Persepolis. They show Achaemenid soldiers, lions, tombs, and mythological creatures fighting. Seeing this pattern as you walk through the garden will make your day.
