Aras UNESCO Global Geopark is located in northwest Iran, bordering the Aras River that separates Iran from Armenia and Azerbaijan. The geopark has three protected areas and is home to diverse wildlife, including endangered species like the Caucasian Black Grouse, Red Deer, Armenian Ram, and Leopard.
